Been using these in our small taproom for over a month now. As a nanobrewery, we opened using corny kegs for many reasons, but we also wanted to carry guest beers, so we needed an easy way to switch between corny and sanke. To do that before these adapters, I had to buy a bunch of parts (hose barbs and the like) and make my own adapter. That worked, but it was tedious, bulky, and way too time consuming.
As soon as I saw these, I ordered them! Now I can move between kegs effortlessly. And honestly, these adapters work better than the posts on the kegs!
One note: The rubber gaskets inside tend to bend when you attach to the keg coupler (especially on the beer side for some reason), so always be sure to look for leaks before walking away. And know that it's not that it isn't tight enough, its just that the gasket bent a little. :)
If I were going to ask for one modification, it would be that the beveled edge (for using a wrench to tighten the adapters onto the coupler) could be a little "taller" making it easier to tighten, but this is a very minor thing. |
