Description

The difference is clear. We now offer a premium tubing along with our economy silicone tubing. This premium translucent silicone tubing is 1/2"ID x 3/4"OD which gives you an 1/8" wall thickness to help prevent kinking. It is ultra clear and allows you to see any air bubbles you might have sneaking through. This tube is rated -100F to 500f and NSF certified. The tubing is manufactured in a clean room specifically for use in biotech, pharmaceutical, cosmetic, biomedical and food applications. Tubing meets FDA CFR 177.2600 and European Pharmacopoeia 3.1.9. MADE IN USA!!! Sold by the foot.

	Great tubing, good price.
	For those of you that want a clearer tubing, this is it. I can't say enough good things about it. I love it so much that I made a small, pet-like creature out of my leftover cuttings. His name is Hammy. I named him after the sandwich I was eating at the time of his inception. He watches over my brewery at night beside the gnome that runs the brewery at night.

	Nice tubing
	I use this tubing throughout my system, and it works well. It is translucent, but as it is used more, it does seem to get a little less so. I clean the hoses meticulously, so it's not that they are dirty. I clean with oxyclean, use a brush to mechanically clean, and sanitize with star-san. Despite the slight change in translucency, I can still easily see changes in clarity, as well as if bits of grain are circulating. I would definitely recommend spending a bit extra for this tubing.

	Great tubing
	Very good construction quality. Nice and thick walls so it won't kink. Pretty clear so you can visualize movement through. Definitely worth the cost.

	Good stuff
	I replaced all of my old regular grade silicone tubing that had turned from white to brown over time with this stuff. This clear tubing holds its shape better and is less likely to kink. A few brews in it is still clean and clear. It's nice being able to see through the tubing and knowing the interior is clean.
